The Story of a Photographer

Rhonda Ashton (AKA Lady Ashton)  is a retired New Jersey Elementary School Principal, former kindergarten teacher and Literacy Coach. With her love of photography since childhood, she has started her new venture, Lady Ashton Photography.

Rhonda grew up in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and graduated from Laurel Highlands High School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at West Virginia University. After moving to Bergen County, she worked with pre-kindergartners to grade 4 students for thirty years in the Hackensack Public School System. During that time, she received postgraduate degrees in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership. Through it all, she has always enjoyed taking photos of her family, friends, colleagues, children and the outdoors.
